SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Three suspects are on the run after a 39-year-old Massachusetts man was stabbed to death in New York’s Times Square Monday night.

The incident occurred on 43rd Street between Broadway and Sixth Avenue.

The victim was stabbed in the face, chest and back during a verbal dispute, police said. He died at the scene. Police have yet to release his identity.

A search is underway for three men who allegedly ran from the scene.
