MLK Jr. Family Services reopens after gas leak

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - The Martin Luther King Jr. Family Services in Springfield is back to full operations after a gas leak forced a temporary closure. The agency said all programs have reopened.
The emergency food pantry will be back on its regular schedule and their mobile food truck will also return to its usual location and hours starting Thursday.
During the shutdown, MLK Family Services secured contractors, permits, and inspections to reopen safely while keeping services going through adjusted operations.
