Town election: 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. May 26, Town Hall, 188 Mallery St. There are no contested elections.

TOP ISSUES AT TOWN MEETING: Voters will be asked to approve a $740,913 operating budget for fiscal 2027, representing an 11.4 percent increase. The budget includes the $372,162 school assessment for tuition for 14 students. That’s a 21.3 percent increase over the current school assessment. They also will be asked whether to support raising and appropriating $90,325 and funding $8,500 to the general fund for the municipal light plant. Voters also will consider the following transfers:
