FOXBOROUGH, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - We know watch parties are happening all across New England for the big game. Some of them happening where the Patriots play their home games: Foxborough.
The atmosphere is absolutely electric here at Patriot Place. we are currently inside the Harp, a sports bar and restaurant located just steps away from Gillette Stadium.
This place is packed, and these fans are ready to roll as we are just minutes away from the big game. Now this is one of the multiple watch parties happening across Patriot Place.
Our crew arrived a little before 4 p.m. on Sunday, there were fans still filing into the Harp at that time.
We can confirm all of the bar seats are taken and all of the tables have been reserved, which means those who want to stop by and watch the game here, it would be standing room only.
We have spoken with fans both young and old who super excited for this one, as the Patriots look to win their first NFL title in seven years. Some fans even coming from other parts of New England, such as New Hampshire, to see the Pats on TV right next to their home turf.
We also saw some excited families, including one coming from Milton.
6-year-old Hunter Lawson could not hold back how he thrilled he is to watch the Patriots play in the NFL’s grand finale for the first time ever, and he’s doing so with an extra memory under his belt.
Of course, kickoff is just under 30 minutes away at 6:30. Everyone in this building, across Patriot Place, and much of New England is excited for this moment. The fans we spoke to say no matter what happens, this will be a season to remember.
