NEW YORK (WFSB) - A Connecticut man fell to his death from an upper deck of Madison Square Garden during a concert on Saturday night, police confirmed.

They said Paul Kueker, 51, of Niantic, was at the concert with his wife when he fell from the arena’s 300 level just before 10 p.m.

Police said Kueker was found unconscious and unresponsive with injuries indicating a fall from high up.

First responders brought him to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Kueker left behind two children. A GoFundMe has been started by Kueker’s family to help cover the unexpected funeral expenses.

The rock band “Goose” from Wilton, CT was playing.

In a statement on Facebook, the band said it was “deeply saddened and heartbroken to learn of the tragic event that occurred.”

NYPD said it is investigating what happened. It said it does not suspect foul play was involved.

No further details were released.
