Northampton DPW director leaving at the end of August

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Northampton DPW Director Donna Lascaleia is stepping down from her job on Aug. 31, the mayor announced.
Lascaleia had served Northampton for over a decade, leading the department through large investment and modernization.
She earned recognition from both the state DEP and the USEPA for excellence in both the city’s public water systems and its Wastewater Industrial Pretreatment Program.
A search for a new director is already underway.
