Northampton honors Revolutionary War soldiers Bridge Street Cemetery

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - On Saturday, both the Betty Allen Chapter and the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution hosted their own ‘Patriot Pride’ celebration in order to honor the 175 Revolutionary War servicemen buried at the Bridge Street cemetery.
The ceremony included a speech from Northampton Mayor Gina-Louise Sciarra and Mass. State Representative Lindsay Sabadosa, music performed by the John F. Kennedy Middle School Choir. As well as a reading of the Declaration of Inddependence.
Lastly, the ceremony was not complete without a musket salute performed by the Colonel Henry Knox Color Guard.
