One dead after motorcycle involved accident in Springfield
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Just after 11 p.m. on Saturday, June 11th, officers of the Springfield Police Department responded to a report of an accident at the 1600 Block of Boston Road in Springfield.
When officers arrived, they had noticed an accident involving a box truck and a motorcycle. The motorcycle rider involved in the accident was pronounced dead on scene, another passenger involved in the crash was taken to Baystate Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the box truck remained on scene after the accident. The incident remains under investigation with the Springfield Police Department’s Traffic Unit.
