SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Officials responded to a car crash around the intersection of Parker Street and North Branch Parkway around 6 p.m. on Wednesday night.

Western Mass News was on the scene of the accident, you can see there was extensive damage done to both vehicles, and we know at least one person was taken to the hospital.

However, officials told us all injuries reported were non-life threatening. It is still unclear what led to this crash.
