One seriously injured in e-bike, car collision in Westfield

WESTFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - One person is seriously injured after police said an e-bike rider pulled out in front of a car.
The incident occurred outside of ProAmpac on North Elm Street in Westfield.
According to police, an e-bike rider pulled out of the driveway of the packaging company towards an oncoming car. The driver tried to swerve, but made contact, police said. He had significant, but non-life threatening injuries.
A citation was issued to the cyclist.
