SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - An overnight crash in Springfield led to a hasty rescue and sent one person to the hospital.

Just before 10 p.m. on Saturday night, officials received reports of a two-car accident at the intersection of Allen and Alberta Streets. Upon arriving to the scene, emergency crews had to rescue one person from their car.

They were then taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
