Pedestrian hit and killed overnight on Boston Road

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - A pedestrian was hit and killed on Boston Road early Monday morning, according to the Springfield Police Department.
The incident occurred around 12:15 a.m. near the intersection of Boston Road and Drake Street. Officials said an adult man died at the scene.
The driver involved in the incident remained on scene. Springfield police are conducting an investigation.
