Planned power outage to affect several North Adams streets

NORTH ADAMS — A planned power outage will take place on two mornings next week, impacting some North Adams streets.

National Grid said the outage will occur Tuesday and Wednesday, April 14-15 from 3 a.m. to 5 a.m.

It will affect the following areas:

The outage includes the fire station on American Legion Drive, but the city has a generator for that building and is prepared, Mayor Jennifer Macksey said at a recent city council meeting.

If there’s inclement weather, they have another day reserved for work on Thursday, April 16, said City Council President Ashley Shade
