Police asks for help in recovering missing championship ring

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - The Pittsfield Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding an important piece of the city’s history.
Police said on Saturday, a 1997 championship ring belonging to their former baseball team, the Pittsfield Mets was stolen during an event at Wahconah Park.
Officials are looking for anyone who noticed suspicious activity. They also went on to remind people to be vigilant on social media or at pawn shops for the ring.
