BELCHERTOWN, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - A heavy police presence was reported in Belchertown on Friday evening.

This is the footage our Western Mass News crews captured on Daniel Shays Highway around 7 p.m.

When they originally arrived on scene they reported multiple police cruisers, an ambulance, and even a fire engine surrounding the area. You can see there was an area blocked off with caution tape as well.
