HOLYOKE, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Early on Tuesday morning, the Holyoke Police Department responded to reports of a disturbance nearby 22 Essex Street just before 3 a.m.

Officers then discovered two people, who were quickly separated and interviewed on what happened.

Police then discovered, that allegedly, 32-year-old Tayvaughn Jordan of Springfield shot a gun from within a car when the other person was inside their apartment and then tossed the gun inside.

Officers promptly arrested Jordan and searched the apartment later that day, which came to their discovery of the gun in question.

Tayvaughn Jordan is now facing a slew of gun charges.
