Red Sox legend Roger Clemens makes an appearance at Westfield State University

WESTFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Westfield State University’s Starfire’s Hot Stove Event was headlined by none other than former pitcher and Red Sox legend Roger Clemens, or as some people call him, ‘The Rocket.’
Fans were invited to sit in on a conversion all about MLB history, insight into the game itself, and a chance to look back at some of his most iconic moments. Clemens made his MLB debut with the Sox in 1984 and stayed with the team until 1996.
During that time, he was a five-time all-star and won the Cy Young Award three times. He was also named the American League’s MVP in 1986.
