Rescue crews respond to car on tree crash

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Around 11 a.m. on Thursday morning, the Springfield Fire Department were sent to 2025 Parker Street for a car that crashed into a tree.
Rescue crews were able to get the driver out of the vehicle safely, and the person was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
There are no further details at this time.
