Road in downtown Springfield to close to traffic due to jazz festival

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Court Street is now closed, and won’t re-open until 1 a.m. Sunday for the 13th annual Springfield Jazz and Roots Festival.
City Hall Place and Pynchon Street will also be shut down during that time as Court Square fills with music and festival crowds.
Springfield DPW urged drivers to plan ahead, expect congestion, and follow posted detours around both events.
