Road in Monson to be closed for railroad construction

MONSON, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - A traffic alert for you on this Sunday, a railroad crossing in Monson is closed until Monday evening.
As a part of their railroad crossing rehab project, the New England Central Railroad will be working on their Hospital Road crossing starting Sunday at 7 a.m. and the road will remain closed until 7 p.m. Monday.
If you need to get around it, those west of the crossing can use Upper Palmer Road and those east of the crossing can use Palmer Road.
