Second suspect arrested in connection with Pittsfield murder

PITTSFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - A 17-year-old boy is now facing charges in connection to another teen’s murder.
Sergio Ponce, 17, of Pittsfield is now the second person arrested for the murder of 17-year-old Brodie Slonski, who was found with a gunshot wound to the chest in the driver’s seat of a crashed car on the night of October 26.
The first suspect. 18-year-old Jaequan Spratling, was taken into custody last Thursday and charged with murder and attempted armed robbery. He was arraigned last week while Ponce’s arraignment took place on Wednesday.
