WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Around the evening of 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 21st, the West Springfield Police Department announced that Westfield Street between Sibley Avenue and Dewey Street was closed due to a crash.

Officials said only a single vehicle was involved in the collision. There has been no word on any injured involved in the crash.

Officials also asked residents to avoid the area as the scene was cleared and an investigation can take place.

As of 8:30 p.m. the road has since been reopened.
