SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - For the second time in as many weeks, fairgoers at Six Flags New England noticed that a ride was stuck during operation.

Six Flags provided Western Mass News with a statement after the Wicked Cyclone got stuck.

The statement said that, like a car, safety sensors occupy an attraction that monitors all aspects of the cycle, but, unlike a car, the ride will not run when an alert is engaged.

The ride was inspected thoroughly and returned to service soon after.
