Soccer fans gather for World Cup Fan Festival

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - During day six of the FIFA World Cup, the Fan Festival in Boston was packed with fans from across the world on Tuesday.
Fan Fest is the central gathering place for fans, residents, and visitors alike to celebrate the 2026 World Cup, and there’s one in every host city, including in Boston.
It’s designed as a community celebration so even if you weren’t able to secure tickets to a game, it’s no problem, all are welcome and free to attend.
On a huge screen, fans can view all the games live plus watch concerts and, of course, partake in some games.
Fans said they were excited to watch Tuesday’s game of France vs. Senegal and that they enjoyed the free festivities.
A Norway vs. Iraq game is set to kickoff at 6 p.m.
