Soccer semifinals promise to be a wild ride

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Only four teams remain in search of winning the World Cup.
An upcoming semifinal slate features three of the last four World Cup champions and though England still has a chance, it won’t be easy.
France will face Spain on Tuesday at Dallas Stadium after France beat Morocco two-to-zero in Boston Stadium while Spain reached the semis by defeating Belgium two-to-one on Friday.
Later in the week, England will face Argentina down in Atlanta Stadium.
England advances to the semifinals after beating Norway two-to-one in extra-time on Saturday, but that wasn’t even the most dramatic part. Argentina also headed to an extra 30 minutes to beat Switzerland three-to-one and move on.
Superstar names are littered up and down each of said lineups and on top of that, the coming semifinals feature the top four teams in FIFA’s men’s world rankings.
