Springfield man pleads guilty to fentanyl trafficking

BOSTON, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - A Springfield man is headed to prison for drug and gun charges. 31-year-old Lamiek White, was sentenced Wednesday at least twelve years behind bars.
White pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute fentanyl and possessing a firearm, in connection with drug trafficking. During a search of his Springfield home in June 2023, authorities found approximately 200 grams of fentanyl and a gun with an obliterated serial number.
He’ll also serve five years of supervised release after his sentence.
