Springfield Police continue their crackdown on illegal off road vehicles
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Police cracked down on illegal off-highway vehicles as summer ramps up with officers seizing four vehicles in two days.
On Wednesday, a Chicopee man was arrested and charged after he was found to be driving a bike reported stolen out of Ware. Less than an hour later, another dirt bike was seized.
On Thursday, A 17-year-old male was arrested, and a bike was seized from a rider driving recklessly without a license.
Springfield Police said they are conducting these details to deter dangerous, illegal riding of dirt bikes on city streets.
