Stockbridge greenlights major Elm Court resort and residential project

STOCKBRIDGE — The Select Board has approved a $70 million to $80 million plan to restore the 89-acre Elm Court mansion and develop 74 hotel rooms and 38 residential homesteads, each up to 7,500 square feet.
After six public hearings and a detailed peer review of the amended application, the Select Board voted 3-0 Thursday to approve the project at 310 Old Stockbridge Road, with multiple conditions.
