Street in West Springfield expected to be closed for hours to remove stuck truck

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Westfield Street in West Springfield is expected to be closed for the next several hours after a tractor-trailer got stuck under the Dewey Street underpass.
The street is closed in both directions. West Springfield police said part of the trailer will have to be unloaded before it can be towed.
Drivers are asked to use alternate routes and avoid the area in order to allow emergency crews and tow operations to work safely.
