Streets in Pittsfield closed due to sewer lining replacement project

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - The City of Pittsfield announced their sewer lining replacement project will resume this week.
The project is intended to help prevent future breaks within the line.
Construction will occur on Wahconah Street between Seymour and Park streets until 5 a.m. Tuesday. Seymour and Park will be closed to thru traffic during that time.
From 2 p.m. Tuesday until 5 a.m. Wednesday, Park Street between Wahconah and Seymour streets will be under construction.
The city says there should be minimal to no impact to residential sewer lines during construction.
