Target location still expected to open on Boston Road
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Despite uncertainty about the future of Springfield Crossing, a new Target location is still expected to open there soon.
Mayor Domenic Sarno and other officials have been invited to a preview on Tuesday.
The new location will employ 150 team members and will feature a “food forward” layout with an expanded grocery selection. It will also have a CVS pharmacy, a Starbucks and an Apple-at-Target section.
Located at 1655 Boston Road, the new store will have EV charging stations, next-day delivery and same-day delivery for Target 360 members.
