SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - According to Springfield Police Department Ryan Walsh, police responded to a report of a disturbance on the 900 Block of Bay Street around 8:30 p.m. Friday night.

When Police had arrived, they observed roughly 100 people, mostly juveniles, engaged in fighting on the block. People originally gathered there for an event that was being hosted by a business in that area before it turned into fighting.

Officers were eventually able to break up the crowd. Two teenage boys, aged 14 and 15, as well as one 17-year-old girl was arrested for disorderly conduct. The 14-year-old male was also charged with trespassing.

Due to their age, their identities were not released.
