Traffic lanes to be closed in downtown Springfield for sewer repairs

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Another traffic alert out of Springfield, and we’re giving you a chance to plan ahead. Starting on Monday, July 27th, sewer pipes will be repaired on State Street from Main Street to Dwight Street.
The work is expected to last for 6 weeks with traffic reduced to one lane each way. Typical construction hours are from 7 a.m. To 4 p.m.
