Traffic stop leads to arrest in Palmer

PALMER, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - On Sunday, an officer with the Palmer Police Department conducted a traffic stop on North Main Street for an unregistered vehicle.
When the officer approached the driver, they spotted a white powdery substance coating the inside of the car. Upon questioning, the driver claimed to have been eating a powdered donut.
The police officer discovered that the substances within the car was cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl. The driver was promptly arrested and is now being held on a $25,000 bail on a slew of charges.
The investigation into the traffic stop remains ongoing.
