Two men shot, one dead after shooting in Springfield’s Old Hill

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, June 26th, officers of the Springfield Police Department were sent to the 100 block of Lebanon Street due to a ShotSpotter activity.
When police arrived, they discovered one man with gunshot wounds. The first man was taken to Baystate Medical Center where he later died from his injuries on Saturday morning.
A second man was taken to Baystate as well by car with non-life-threatening injures.
The shooting remains under investigation with the Springfield Police Department’s Homicide Unit with the Hampden District Attorney’s Office.
