Ware officials address water discoloration issues

WARE, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - If you live in Ware and noticed your house’s water was rusty or colored, the town has addressed the issue.
Officials said this was because of a private contractor improperly flushing private water lanes, resulting in a drop in the water tanks, stirring up the system.
The Water Department said they corrected the problem, and there should be no further issues.
If you happen to notice any discolored water, contact Ware’s Department of Public Works.
