LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - On Sunday, the Longmeadow Fire Department released a statement on social media that there was a water main break at the intersection of Longmeadow Street and Booth Road.

Officials are asking people to avoid the area if possible. Residents south of Nevins Avenue in Longmeadow may experience low or no water pressure in their homes as crews work to make the necessary repairs.
