Weekend road closure in Monson

MONSON, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - If you plan on driving through Monson this weekend, you’re going to want to plan ahead.
Starting at 7 a.m. on Sunday, New England Central Railroad will be starting construction on their Hospital Road crossing as part of their railroad crossing rehab project.
The area of Hospital Road will be completely closed until 7 a.m. on Monday.
If you live on the road to the west of the crossing, you will be detoured to Upper Palmer Road. If you live to the east, you will use Palmer Road.
