After several years of hosting the annual town meeting at  various other locations, Williamstown will hold this year's meeting at Williamstown Elementary School.

Town meeting: 7 p.m. Tuesday, Williamstown Elementary School, 115 Church St.

TOP ISSUES AT TOWN MEETING: Voters will consider a proposed $28.6 million budget for fiscal 2027, an increase of about 8 percent over the current year. It includes $16.8 million for Mount Greylock Regional School District, a 13.6 percent increase from last year; $345,000 toward McCann Technical School, an 18 percent decrease; and $10.9 million for general government spending, a 2.5 percent increase. Also up for a vote is a plan to appropriate $1.4 million for capital expenditures, including new voting booths, new police vehicle, $520,000 for sewer improvements and $230,000 for water department improvements.
