SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - On Friday, a 32-year-old man plead guilty in federal court here in Springfield to making threats online. Michael Rogers of Windsor was arrested in April of 2024.

In 2023, he posted a threat on a review page for a Springfield medical practice saying “they gonna(sic) get what’s coming soon” with a photo of someone holding a gun.

Just a year later, Rogers submitted another threat saying, “give me my money or I’m gonna start dropping people”, this time to a fraud reporting website for the Social Security Administration office. He went on to threaten children and an entire school. Rogers will be sentenced in February and could face up to 5 years in prison.
