Drug Trafficking ring disrupted after federal investigation

BOSTON (WGGB/WSHM) - State and federal investigators said they’ve disrupted a major drug trafficking ring moving fentanyl, meth and cocaine through Merrimack Valley and Boston.
Authorities recovered nearly 4,000 grams of fentanyl, around 400 grams of meth, 200 grams of cocaine, 4 guns,a hundred rounds of ammo… and $100,000 in cash since last month.
10 suspects from Lawrence, Methuen, Haverhill and Boston now face a long list of trafficking, conspiracy and firearms charges with judges setting bail as high as $250,000.
The Attorney General’s office said the case targets a drug organization tied to deadly fentanyl overdoses across Essex and Suffolk counties.
