Funeral arraignments announced for fallen Uxbridge police officer

UXBRIDGE, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Our coverage of Uxbridge police officer Stephen LaPorta’s untimely death continues with the latest update.
On Saturday, the Massachusetts State Police announced the funeral arraignments for fallen Uxbridge police officer Stephen LaPorta, who’s sacrifice in the line of duty will not be forgotten.
Both the visitation and funeral service will be held at Saint Mary’s Church on Church Square in Franklin, Massachusetts. The visitation hours will be on Wednesday, January 14th from 2 to 6 p.m., The funeral service will be on Thursday, 11 a.m.
The burial will take place at Saint Mary’s Cemetery, located at 88 Granite Street in Uxbridge. The burial has been announced it will be open to the public.
The Uxbridge Police Department asked the public that the privacy of LaPorta’s family be honored during this difficult time.
