MassDOT issues truck restrictions ahead of the storm

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - The Massachusetts Department of Transportation has issued a travel restriction for all trucks ahead of Sunday’s major winter storm.
Truck traffic will be restricted beginning at noon on Sunday, January 25 and will remain in effect until noon on Monday, January 26.
Restrictions will include Box trucks, tractor trailer, tandem, and special permit (HAZMAT) trucks.
Truck delivers of food, fuel, and medical supplies will not be restricted during that time.
