(Gray News) - Tulsi Gabbard has resigned as the director of national intelligence.
Gabbard announced her resignation Friday in a post on X.
“Today, with great humility and sincere appreciation, I shared the below letter with President Trump. It has been a profound honor to serve the American people as DNI,” she wrote.
Gabbard said she is resigning because her husband has been diagnosed with bone cancer, and she wants to be by his side full time.
