UPDATE: Officials say Bangor airport closed while crews respond to ‘incident’
BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Airport officials say emergency crews are responding to an incident at Bangor International Airport that occurred at approximately 7:45 p.m. on Sunday.
They say the airport is closed at this time.
They say they are unable to provide any additional information at this time but ask that the public avoid the area.
CNN says a source has told them a private jet with eight people on board crashed at Bangor International Airport in Maine, a source briefed on the incident said. The extent of their injuries are not known, the source said. The plane is a Bombardier Challenger 650 business jet.
