2 people seriously injured in Pittsfield crash
PITTSFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Two people are fighting for their lives after a serious car crash in Pittsfield Sunday afternoon.
Police said it happened on Pecks Road after a car was reportedly speeding in the southbound lane and lost control and hit a utility pole. The two people inside were thrown from the car and taken to Berkshire Medical Center once emergency crews made it to the scene.
Both people suffered serious, life-threatening injuries and one of them was moved to Baystate Medical Center because of the severity of their injuries..
The crash remains under investigation.
