2 people taken into custody in Chicopee after Springfield shooting

CHICOPEE, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - An investigation is now underway in Chicopee after a shooting in Springfield.
It all started when Chicopee Police received an alert from the Springfield Police Department to be on the lookout for a car that was reportedly involved in the shooting.
A short time later, officers found the vehicle on Ludlow Road in Chicopee and took two people into custody. Police added that there was no ongoing threat to the public.
