3 arrested after stolen car chase ends in crash on I-91 in Enfield

ENFIELD, Conn. (WFSB) - Three Massachusetts men were arrested early Friday after a stolen vehicle crashed on I-91 in Enfield and state police found an AR-15 style rifle inside.

At approximately 2:11 a.m., a BOLO for a stolen motor vehicle, which had eluded Enfield police and was last seen traveling along I-91 southbound.

At approximately 2:34 a.m., troopers located the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed along I-91 northbound.

A short time later, the vehicle crashed and the occupants attempted to flee on foot.

Troopers arrested three of the four individuals from the stolen vehicle.

Police are still searching for the fourth suspect.

Located in the vehicle was an AR-15 style short barrel rifle and ammunition.

All three individuals were unable to legally carry a firearm in Connecticut, state police said.

Rudolf L. Dirx, 23, of Westfield, Massachusetts, was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, possession of an assault weapon, possession of a large capacity magazine, first-degree larceny of a motor vehicle, first-degree criminal trover and interfering with an officer/resisting.

Quah Sier Richard Jackson, 23, of Springfield, Massachusetts, was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, possession of an assault weapon, possession of a large capacity magazine, first-degree larceny of a motor vehicle, first-degree criminal trover and interfering with an officer/resisting.

Damiean Marcial-Alexander, 23, of Springfield, Massachusetts, was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, two counts of possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, possession of an assault weapon, possession of a large capacity magazine, first-degree larceny of a motor vehicle, first-degree criminal trover, interfering with an officer/resisting and two counts of criminal possession of a firearm/ammunition/defensive weapon.

All three were held on $500,000 bond and transferred to Hartford Correctional Center.

They are scheduled to appear in Hartford Superior Court on May 11.
