CHICOPEE, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Four people are facing charges after a credit card fraud scheme spanned multiple states.

Chicopee police arrested Jayden Thompson, Javon Curtis Collins, Jayden Gayle and Timothy Spencer last Wednesday.

Officers were called to Walmart for a report of suspects using stolen credit cards. Police located their vehicle, a white BMW, and stopped them in the Chipotle parking lot.

Investigators say the group used stolen debit and credit card information to buy electronics and gift cards online at Walmart. They then used QR codes to complete the purchases.

The suspects are linked to over $5,000 in merchandise obtained through fraud in Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Jersey.

One of the suspects, Timothy Spencer, was also wanted for homicide in New York. He is being held pending extradition.
