Apartment project breaks ground in Holyoke

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - A groundbreaking ceremony was held for the Wrights Block on High Street in Holyoke Tuesday.
The event marked the start of a project that will add 19 apartments and four storefronts to the city.
The units will be for people with mixed incomes, some at market rate and some affordable units. The project, which is just a block away from city hall and the bus terminal, is set to be finished in the summer of 2027.
